The Winter's Tale Chicago Theatre reviews
Terrible Seats
"I had been eagerly anticipating The Winter's Tale and had saved up for months to purchase tickets for myself and a friend. Despite having what were supposed to be 'VIP' tickets, the experience fell short of expectations. Due to understaffing, we were not able to place our drink orders until halfway through the show, which was disappointing but understandable given the circumstances. The most frustrating aspect was the obstructed view from our seats, located in the front and center. Large LED screens on either side of the stage impeded my sightline whenever the performance moved towards the back or up the stairs. In my view, these seats should not be offered for sale if they come with such obstructed views. I left feeling cheated out of my first-time experience watching The Winter's Tale, despite trying to make the most of the situation. I wish I could have seen more than 50% of the performance."
